Our Vision, Mission, and Values
Our Vision
We are a community that reflects God’s healing love for those who have walked away from the church.
Our Mission
We make disciples of Jesus in Downtown Lynchburg by:
Reaching the dechurched
Growing them in the gospel and healing fellowship
Equipping them to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly
Sending them back to invest in our communities
Our Core Values
We are driven by the ministry of the Word, sacrament, and healthy discipleship (2 Corinthians 4:1–6)
We strive for biblical and theological accuracy (2 Timothy 2:15)
We live by the ordinary means of grace (Acts 2:42)
We practice Christian charity (Colossians 1:3–4)
We are united in the essentials of the Christian faith (Ephesians 4:1–6)
We evangelize all people for the sake of Christ’s glory (John 10:16)
We lead with humility and grace (1 Peter 5:1–11)
We are resilient in our ministry (2 Corinthians 4:16–18)
We are connected with our presbytery and denomination (1 Timothy 4:14)
We care for the souls of others (2 Corinthians 1:3–7)
We are a new Evangelical Presbyterian Church Plant (EPC) reaching the heart of Lynchburg.
As part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, we are both Evangelical and Reformed. This means that we hold to both The Essentials of the Christian Faith and the historic teachings of the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms, while being evangelistic and missional in how God leads us both as a church plant and as individuals.
